About Us
Savanna and Matthew first met at Matt's condo in Four Lakes, Lisle. He showed off his mattress on the floor and white walls. They stayed up till 2:30am talking like they had known each other forever. Shortly after, Matt asked Savanna to attend a high school friends wedding in Green Bay. Which of course Savanna said yes to. They had the most wonderful time at the wedding and when they woke up the next morning, Matt asked Savanna to be his girlfriend on 12/13/20.
Several things have changed in the last four years that Savanna and Matt have been together. To celebrate their first year dating, they decided to adopt their first puppy, Holly. Shortly after, Savanna moved into Matt's condo to help manage the responsibilities of a new pet. They quickly outgrew their space in the condo and decided it was time for a home. They moved to Munster Indiana in September of 2023. With their new home, meant more space, for more dogs. Since September they adopted two more dogs, Hank and Wilma.
The daily stresses of work, school, and life in general never put a damper on Matt and Savanna's love for travel. They have created many great memories in various places including, Wisconsin, Michigan, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Oregon, Wyoming, and Idaho.
They were able to take their travels internationally for Matt's 30th birthday. Savanna orchestrated a twelve day Ireland trip with a couple of Matt's closest friends. On the ninth day into their trip, in addition to it being Matt's birthday, he decided to pop the question outside of Soraghan's Irish Whiskey pub with a traditional Irish claddagh ring.

Questions
When should I book my stay?
We suggest booking your stay as soon as you are aware you are able to be in attendance. We do not have a room block available so rooms will be booked first come first serve. It is smart to book with the $150, per person deposit, to ensure room availability. Matt and Savanna will be staying at the resort 2/25/27-3/2/27. *Resort requires a minimum stay of three days when booking*
What should I wear?
Our wedding celebration will take place directly on the beach in Tulum. We invite guests to dress in Beach Formal attire.
For Women: Floor-length or midi dresses in light, flowing fabrics such as silk, chiffon, satin, or linen are encouraged. Think elevated resort elegance—soft neutrals, warm earth tones, or coastal hues work beautifully with the beach setting. Strappy sandals or wedges are ideal for the sand.
For Men: Linen or lightweight suits are perfect for the occasion. A linen suit, light-colored blazer with dress trousers, or a crisp button-down shirt paired with pants are all great options. Neutral tones such as tan, beige, cream, light gray, or soft blue complement the beach atmosphere well.
We kindly encourage guests to embrace a beach-inspired color palette—think soft neutrals, warm earth tones, and ocean hues such as sage, olive, terracotta, taupe brown, sea glass blue, and muted blues. We kindly ask that guest avoid bold or overly bright colors.
Because both the ceremony and reception will be held directly on the sand, please plan footwear accordingly. A shoe check station will be available (during ceremony only), and guests are welcome to remove their shoes and enjoy the celebration barefoot if they wish.
Can I bring a guest or plus one?
Due to the limitations placed on accommodations, we ask that you kindly refer to your invitation to indicate if a plus one is provided. We can only accommodate those listed on the invitation. We hope you understand and can still join us for this special day! Formal invitations will be sent in June 2026.
Can I bring my children?
As our wedding will be held at an adults-only resort, we kindly inform you that children under 18 will not be permitted on the property. Thank you for understanding.
Do I need a Passport?
Yes! A valid passport is required to travel to Mexico. Be sure to check the expiration date and allow time for processing if you need to renew.
